Thank you. Fast Shipping. I didn't realize I was getting a hard back but it was a nice surprise.
I most definitely recommend it to anyone interested in the Nazi Holocaust. This book was amazing. It's inspiring, moving, and about ten other great things.
i sometimes find myself wondering what it was like in the days of my grandparents and wanting to experience it for myself. As other reviews have said this book is essentially Schindler list but from a child's perspective and i think that is a perfect way to describe it. i recommend it to everyone. great book. i think that because it is about a girl who gets to what her grandparents are talking about what they went through but then she actually gets to experience it for herself. she then realizes that the things that would really bug her and she would be annoyed by their stories but she actually experiences it.
Hannah finds herself back in the 1940's as Chaya, a teen soon to be captured by the Nazi soldiers. This amazing story tenderly leads the reader through a real education of what the concentration camps were really like. What an amazingly moving portrayal of such a horrendously evil piece of world history. Excellent character development, realistic settings, and accurate portrayals of feelings make this story effective and unforgettable. We experience the unimaginable with Chaya, as she struggles for one more hour, one more day of life. Hannah, a Jewish teen, wonders why she has to sit at another 'boring' family Seder. "I'm sick of remembering," she says not long before she opens a door that leads her to experience the holocaust firsthand.
It is an incredible book. The mysterious events were like when Hannah got transported into the past. This Jewish tale tells the horrifying tale of the Nazis. Hi, I just read this book and thought it should get 4 stars. There were a lot of mysterious events.
